The Metro
Marines was founded in 1992 as a non-profit organization.
We assist the Marine Corp in their recruiting and community
outreach efforts and we provide a network for local Marines to stay
connected to each other and to the Marine Corp.
We do that by:
- Representing
the Marine Corp by marching in local summer parades.
- Assisting
active Marines in the annual Toys for Tot Christmas Campaign by
working in the warehouse, behind the scenes and by soliciting
meals for campaign workers.
- Holding
regular meetings and monthly dinners to allow members an
opportunity to network and learn about future events.
- Assisting
and participating in other key Marine Corp events (i.e. Silent
Drill Platoon; Marine Corp Ball, etc.)
Metro
Marine membership is open to any honorably discharged Marine, active
duty Marine or FMF Corpsman. Please
